NOT AS IMPORTANT HOW YOU START BUT HOW YOU FINISH!!!

We love to testify about how god saved us! That's so very important. We must be born again. What about how we finish "our course"? Will we be able to say as Paul did, For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
The key word is HUMBLE and the key thought is "Finish our course as Paul Did.
My prayer today is" Father in all I do and all I say and all I am, let me be humble. I KNOW my beginning was great and I thank you everyday for saving my soul but Father let my end be as Pauls. I will trust in you and I believe that I can finish this course as a humble person. I want a crown of righteousness. Always to be in the center of your will. Amen and Amen

O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper. 13 ¶ But Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come about behind them: so they were before Judah, and the ambushment was behind them. 14 And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets. 15 Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. 16 And the children of Israel fled before Judah: and God delivered them into their hand. 17 And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.
